Revolution North of England Championships 2011

On Sunday 10th April Balby Carr Sports College in Doncaster played host to the Revolution Martial Arts Network North of England Championships 2011. It was the Tournaments 6th year and it has seen a steady growth leading towards the Network's biggest event to date.

Balby Carr was packed out with Competitors and Spectators from 26 clubs all around the North of England and the Midlands.

The event featured Point Sparring, Light Continuous, Traditional, Freestyle and Weapons Forms as well as the new and exciting "Sport Sword"

The event had 3 areas running constantly thanks to the great Officials & Referee's that we are lucky enough to have. There was some great performances including York's Jay Spain who came away with 3 Gold Medals and NEST TKD's Nathan Wild who won both Points & Continuous Golds having to win a total of 10 fights at the young age of 12. There was lots of great team performances with the Burns School of Black Belts winning the most Gold Medals with a total of 10 and Andy Crittenden's Martial Arts Centre winning the most medals in total with 25 including 9 Gold's.

The event was a great success with a very high standard throughout, I would like to thank everyone who supported the day and made it a success. Here are the results:
